Change to out of hours service provider

Up until now, Vale Vets, Portishead has always provided our out-of-hours service.

We are now able to pass the overnight on-call service to our partners, Vets Now Bridgwater. This service has specially trained vets and nurses who are on-site all night.

Vets Now will look after the out-of-hours service when our practice is closed.

The Vets Now Bridgwater branch location info is available here: Vets Now | Trusted Out-Of-Hours Pet Emergency Care In The UK. This change will come into force on Monday 19th October 2026.

Our systems and services will continue to be available at Axe Valley Vets, meaning you can rest assured there will be no disruption to your pet’s care. This also means your data would continue to be processed by us and our third-party providers to ensure we continue to provide veterinary care. To understand more about how we process your data please see our privacy notice on our website.

We thank you for your continued support and custom and look forward to seeing you and your pet in practice very soon.

Kind regards,

All the team at Axe Valley Vets
